Malcolm Rosenberg Hillel Center Policies
Pet Policy
Companion animals (pets) are not allowed inside our center. The noises, sounds, and students coming in and out of the building are too much to ask a pet to endure. We do welcome leashed service dogs who are trained to handle these experiences. We use the U.S. Justice Department's definition of a service animal under the Americans with Disabilities Act. We ask that if you plan on bringing a service dog with you to our building to please provide us a two weeks notice by emailing office@hillelvt.org with your request. Thank you!
Parking at the Malcolm Rosenberg Hillel Center
Our beautiful building offers 40 parking spots for our patrons and staff to use during programming happening at our center. Our parking is not for individuals to park their vehicles there to visit campus or leave for an extended period of time. Students who would like to use our spots for residential use can qualify to do so by joining our Parent(s) Circle Mitzvah giving level. All vehicles must be removed 2 AM prior to Virginia Tech weekend football gamedays or must have written permission from Hillel at Virginia Tech to park here during those times. Failure to move your vehicle during these times or when Hillel at Virginia Tech asks you to move your vehicle will mean the vehicle will be towed at the owners' expense. During High Holidays and select times throughout the year, our parking lot will be at capacity. We encourage you to find an alternative way to get here either by carpooling, car-hailing services, taking the Blacksburg transit system, or bicycle as we do have a bike rack!
