"Rachel Adell's time at Virginia Tech ended in 2013 with a degree in Humanities, Science and Environment. Rachel's Jewish identity being important to her, she sought out Hillel and was grateful to find and engage with the community it
brought. After a brief stint in New York, she has spent the last 9 years in Los Angeles.
Currently, she works for HF&H which is a solid waste and recycling consultancy for public agencies in California. As a result, she helps counties and cities work on things like their zero waste, recycling, and organic collection programs.
