Today was my first time in Jerusalem's old city and it was an amazing experience. The sights, smells, and sounds where all around as we walked through the streets of the old city and learned little by little about it's history. It was really interesting to learn about the different parts of the city and the history of how the older parts of the city became the lower section as new parts were built above. It was also really cool for me personally to be there since I have a cousin who lives in the old city and we were walking about a street away from her house. The entire city was really cool but the greatest spiritual connection I felt today was when we went to the western wall.
