When Jenny was still a senior in high school, she and her dad happened to pay a visit to Hillel at Virginia Tech as part of their touring at Virginia Tech. Jenny and her
family received a full tour of the building and met the Executive Director, Sue Kurtz, creating a community feeling that Jenny was appreciative of. Once she was officially a student at Virginia Tech, Hillel became a big part of Jenny's college experience that was recognized both by her peers and the Hillel staff members.
